Meet Scout's AI team: the org chart of AI agents that runs a job search, and how to connect it to Claude

I built a team of AI agents that runs a job search. It's called Scout. You connect it to Claude, and from then on you do two things: upload your resume and say what job you want. The team does the rest.

It reads your career, figures out why you're not getting interviews, and builds you a Showcase: a personal website that sells you for the role you want. Then it hunts jobs across the major job boards and company career sites, keeps only the ones worth your time, builds a version of your Showcase for each job, applies for you if you turn that on, finds the hiring manager, and drafts a personal note with your Showcase link.

This guide shows you the whole team: Scout at the top, 35 AI managers that each own one outcome, and the 154 specialists who do the work underneath them, each with one clear job. Then it walks you through connecting Scout to Claude, step by step, so you can put the team to work on your own search.

One honest note: Scout prepares, you approve. Nothing gets sent, published or charged without your own tap. The only thing that runs on its own is Auto-Apply, and only inside rules you set.

Meet Scout's AI team: the org chart

Here's how the team is organized. You talk to one agent, Scout. Scout hands the work to a manager. Each manager owns one outcome, said the way you'd say it, and runs a small team of specialists who each do one thing well. The managers are grouped by the nine steps of a job search, in order.

Tap any manager to see their team.

YouUpload your resume and say the job you want. That's it.
Scout

Your front agent. You talk to Scout inside Claude, and Scout hands each job to the right manager.

Who approves what: Scout drafts and prepares. You send and publish. Anything that sends, applies, publishes or charges money waits for your own tap. The one exception is Auto-Apply, and it only applies inside the rules you set and turn on. On LinkedIn, Scout never takes automated actions: it writes, you post.

Connect Scout to Claude (5 minutes)

Five minutes, once. After this, Scout lives inside Claude and remembers you.

  1. Open Scout in your connectors list and set Tool permissions to Always allow, so the team can work without stopping to ask at every step. Anything that sends, applies, publishes or charges money still needs your own tap.

Custom connectors depend on your Claude plan. If you don't see Add custom connector, check Claude's help page on custom connectors.

Put the team to work: your first prompts

Open a new chat in Claude, attach your resume, and say hello.

Copy this inHi Scout. Here's my resume. I want a job as [the role you want] in [the city, or remote]. Get to know me and build my CareerID.

That starts “Know me better than my resume”. Ada's team reads your resume, asks only for what's missing, and builds your CareerID: what you've done, the results you got, and what's true about you. Everything the rest of the team makes gets checked against it.

To see everything Scout can do, ask for the menu:

Copy this inScout, show me the menu
The Scout Jobs menu inside Claude

Tap an outcome, or just say it in your own words. Here are the five I'd try first, in this order:

  1. “Only the jobs worth my time”. Nova's team compares each job with your CareerID, throws out weak fits and fake listings, and hands you a ranked shortlist with a reason for each.
  2. “A site that sells me, on my own domain”. Dev's team builds your Showcase, the website that makes the case for you before anyone reads your resume.
  3. “A version just for this job”. Elan's team makes a version of your Showcase aimed at one job, so the hiring manager sees exactly why you fit their role.
  4. “Apply for me (Auto-Apply)”. Zane's team applies to matched jobs inside the rules you set: roles, pay, places and how many a day. It stops at any CAPTCHA, login or identity check and hands that step to you.
  5. “Find the hiring team”. Lena's team finds the recruiter and hiring manager tied to the role. Then “Reach them with my resume and Showcase” drafts a short note with your Showcase link. You send it.
Copy this inScout, find me the jobs worth my time this week, then build a version of my Showcase for the best one.

Not sure what to do next? Ask. Marlo, the Next-Move Advisor, picks the step that makes sense for where you are.

Copy this inScout, what should I do next?

Build a team like this for your business

You don't need 35 managers to get value from this. The pattern is what matters, and it works for any business:

1. One front agentThe person only ever talks to one agent. It knows them and routes the work.
2. Managers that own outcomesEach manager owns one result, named the way the customer would ask for it.
3. Specialists with one job eachSmall, narrow jobs are easier to get right and easier to fix.
4. A checker that validates claimsOne agent's whole job is to check the work against what's true before it ships.
5. A human approval gateNothing sends, publishes or charges until a person taps yes.

Start with one outcome your customers ask for most. Give it a manager, three or four specialists, and a checker. Add the next outcome only when that one works.

5

Try it yourself

Go to scoutjob.ai, click Start free, connect Scout to Claude, and upload your resume. That's the whole setup. The team takes it from there.
