A webinar has a lot of moving parts: the offer, the title, the script, the slides, the registration page, the reminder emails and the follow-up. Most owners either build all of it by hand over weeks or never run one at all.
I planned a full webinar launch for one of my businesses with AI: the script, the words on every slide, the run of show, the registration page, the reminder emails and the follow-up emails. The trick is to build it one piece at a time, in the same chat, so every piece knows about the pieces before it.
Below are the prompts in order. Use Claude (a Claude Project is perfect for this, so everything stays in one place). ChatGPT works the same. You still decide the offer and you still show up and teach. AI just takes the blank pages away.
Step 1: Pick the offer and the one promise
Every good webinar makes one promise and leads to one next step. Get these right first and everything else gets easier.
Save the answer in the chat. Every later step uses it.
Step 2: Get title and hook options
Read them out loud and pick the one you'd actually say to a customer.
Step 3: Build the outline and run of show
The run of show is the minute-by-minute plan. It keeps you on time and makes sure you get to the offer before people leave.
Step 4: Write the slide-by-slide words
Paste the slide words into Google Slides, Keynote, PowerPoint or Canva. Ask Claude to "make slides 10 to 15 shorter" if anything feels crowded.
Step 5: Write the registration page
Put this into whatever you already use: your website builder, your email tool's landing page, or your CRM.
A quick example. An interior design studio wants more full-room projects. The promise: "Plan a room that works before you buy a single piece." The three teaching points become the slides. The offer at the end is a paid design consult. The registration page is honest that the consult is offered at the end, and the reminder emails each share one small layout tip so people want to show up.
Step 6: Write the reminder emails (before)
Step 7: Write the replay and follow-up emails (after)
If there is no real deadline, don't make one up. People can tell.
Step 8: Practice and prep for the Q&A
Then practice once out loud, with a timer. Fix anything that runs long.
Mistakes to avoid:
- Building the slides before the promise. Step 1 decides everything.
- All teaching and no offer, or an offer that comes out of nowhere. The bridge matters.
- Invented proof, numbers or deadlines. Use only what's true.
- Skipping the reminders. Many people sign up and forget.
- Sending no-shows the same email as attendees.
